The course is open to all licensed dentists in Philippines and aims to provide comprehensive implant dentistry including the biologic, biomechanical, surgical and restorative knowledge as well as a broad therapeutic spectrum related to patient treatment; to provide practical experience and extensive knowledge in the areas of oral surgery, prosthodontics, periodontology and preventive dentistry. Latest trends and advances such as computer tomography and computer-aided implant treatment planning are incorporated in the course. The course ensures that a participant can perform actual surgical placement of implant as well as the indicated prosthetic outcome while observing proper discipline in the practice of implant placement.

A Comprehensive Introduction to Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This dental implant training course is for the dental practitioner with none or limited dental implant training. It will take the participant from the very basics of anatomy through the more complex understanding of treatment planning and case design, through implant placement techniques and grafting and finally, to problem solving and implant maintenance. The participant will get a clear and crisp understanding of dental implantology and all the benefits to both the patient and the practice.
The course will consist of four structured modules handled for 4 months. This course will provide a total of 192 credit hours of theoretical and bench clinical work delivered by exceptionally trained local experts augmented by invited international lecturers. The course will also require participants to complete a supervised implant rehabilitation of patients.
